We welcome you to join us if you prefer to take a single course. Each course can be purchased individually at $149, and you will earn 8-hours of continuing education.
If you are a CIPS designee, you can audit the courses (unless you want to earn CE). Audit each class for $49 daily*, including receiving the latest manual and resources.

CIPS Designation Requirements
These four (4) requirements must be met to attain and use the CIPS designation:
1. Successful completion of two core and three elective courses.
2. Submit CIPS designation application.
3. Pay the CIPS application fee and annual designation dues (U.S. and Canada only) or a one-time fee for international REALTORS®.
4. Membership in good standing in the National Association of REALTORS®

- The Global Real Estate: Local Markets course is the prerequisite course for the CIPS Designation. This introductory course offers students an overview of the international real estate business environment, including capital flow, currencies, government regulations, and cultures. Topics such as international brokerage, networking, marketing, and selling will also be discussed.

- The Global Real Estate: Transaction Tools course provides students with the tools needed to present investment information to international clients—in their currency and area. Students will learn how to measure investment performance, prepare financial projections, and understand the effects of taxes and exchange rates on investment.

- The Europe & International Real Estate course provides students with insight regarding working with clients in Western and Central Europe. Topics include the European Union and its impact on international real estate, economic and real estate trends, networking and relationship building, and marketing and selling practices.

- The Africa and International Real Estate course addresses real estate practices in Africa, emphasizing cultural influences, economic trends, and assessment of investment opportunities. You will learn about the geography, demographics, government, economy, and real estate sectors in 11 countries. You will be introduced to our newer bilateral partners in Ghana, Nigeria, and South Africa. Because this is such a dynamic continent, you will be provided with resources to keep you updated with current economic and real estate trends. Finally, you will learn about the cultural norms that affect business practices in each country.

- The Asia/Pacific and International Real Estate course addresses real estate practices in Asia and the Pacific with emphasis on cultural influences, economic trends, and assessment of investment opportunities. An extra chapter on working with the Japanese is also included.

The CIPS designation gives you five full days of study focusing on the critical aspects of global real estate transactions,
including:
• Globalization of economies and international capital flow.
• Marketing and business planning strategies.
• Roles, expectations, and cultural business practices of global transactions.
Designation Requirements

- If you reside in a country where NAR has a Cooperating Association, you must be a member of that Association in order to join the CIPS Network/NAR and earn the designation.
- If you reside in a country where NAR does not have a Cooperating Association, you must agree to abide by NAR's code of ethics and join the Cooperating Association if developed in the future.
- After completing your core and elective courses, submit the appropriate CIPS application form. We have included the latest NAR checklist as well:

- What are the CIPS Designation Annual Dues?
- CIPS Application Fee: $75, CIPS Annual Dues $220
- Annual NAR CIPS dues prorated based on application submission:
- Quarter 1 - January, February, March $220
- Quarter 2 - April, May, June $165
- Quarter 3 - July, August, September $110
- Quarter 4 - October, November, December $220 PLUS the following year
