Please join us at Oskar Blues on SEPTEMBER 1ST from 2pm to 6pm for an afternoon of safety education and situational awareness when you are out in the field.
We will have AMAZING presentations: Master Janell Smith with Tukong Austin, instructing us on Self-Defense AND Carl Carter Jr of the Beverly Carter Foundation will deliver the keynote speech addressing this important topic.
Beverly Carter, a Real Estate Executive Broker in North Little Rock, Arkansas, was kidnapped and murdered in September 2014 while doing the work she loved. Her death was a devastating tragedy to her husband, children, parents, grandchildren, and friends.
Within the industry she loved, Beverly's murder catapulted a national conversation about safety to the forefront of the real estate organizations. Since her death, Beverly's son, Carl Carter, Jr., has spoken to tens of thousands of agents across the United States. Carl's experience has been that the national conversation around safety has yet to produce broad improvements to safety for agents. The Beverly Carter Foundation was founded to create a lasting, substantive, positive impact on safety that every agent needs - and deserves. (https://beverlycarterfoundation.org/ )
