Houston Association of REALTORS®, San Antonio Board of REALTORS®, and Unlock MLS announce data share agreement

AUSTIN, Texas – Today, the Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR), San Antonio Board of REALTORS® (SABOR) and Unlock MLS in Austin announced a data share agreement that will give their MLS subscribers access to thousands of additional Texas listings by the end of the year.

This latest collaboration between HAR, SABOR, and Unlock MLS will give 80,000 subscribers access to real estate listings across the Houston, San Antonio and Austin regions – the equivalent of nearly 60% of the Texas housing market.

Unlock MLS subscribers now have an immense data set at their fingertips that will bring exponential value to their business,” said Emily Chenevert, CEO of Unlock MLS and the Austin Board of REALTORS®. “This forward thinking collaboration between Unlock MLS, SABOR, and HAR will position Unlock MLS agents for long-term success in an increasingly complex and interconnected real estate market.”

Subscribers will have access to all Active, Sold, and Off-market listings from Unlock, SABOR, and HAR directly within their existing MLS system, enabling them to incorporate the data into the tools they already use within their familiar interface. In all three markets, agents will be able to conduct seamless searches by City, Zip Code, Subdivision, or via map search; conduct regional market research; and develop Comparative Market Analyses (CMAs) for areas in which they work or refer business.

In January, HAR, SABOR, and Unlock MLS announced a key reciprocity agreement that allows MLS subscribers to show properties across the Houston, San Antonio, and Austin areas. HAR and SABOR have maintained a data share agreement since 2023.
