Christine Chau

Elected Terms: 2020; 2021-2023

Christine Chau is the founder of Firsthand Properties and the broker of Texas Urban Property Management, an Austin-based property management company that represents the owners and tenants of more than 200 doors throughout Texas. In 2021, she received the REAL Producers Top 500 Austin award, which recognizes the top 3% of Central Texas agents.

Chau is a third-term director for the Austin Board of REALTORS^®, a 2022 Texas REALTORS^® Austin Region Representative and past president of the Austin chapter of the Asian Real Estate Association of America. She has earned the CLHMS designation and CIPS designations and certifications.

Within the real estate industry, Chau dedicates much of her efforts to education, networking and guest speaking at a number of events every year. As a wife, mother, daughter, friend, Texas native, and Longhorn (hook ‘em), she enjoys spending her leisure time trying new restaurants, traveling and supporting local businesses.
