James brings a wealth of customer service experience to the daily operations and product support of the Member Services department. A natural coach and problem solver, James enjoys making a difference in someone’s day and career by teaching them a new process and providing solutions.

Since joining ABoR in 2006, James has worked as a Member Advocate and MLS Trainer, and has gained enormous insight into the industry. He holds CMLX1 and C2EX certifications, is a Supra Master user, holds an inactive real estate license, and is a graduate of the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program. 

Before joining ABoR, James was a restaurant manager for Chuy’s and, having studied Upholstery at Austin Community College, he was the sole proprietor of an antique and upholstery business. James volunteers with Goodwill, Meals on Wheels Central Texas, Family Eldercare, and the American Cancer Society. Off the clock, he spends his free time creating new recipes, playing guitar, and being active.
